City Web-Sites

Below are hyper-links to web-sites of the cities in the San Francisco/Bay Area region. You would want these web-sites to find out about city programs, parks, playgrounds, tennis courts and other facilities provided by the city. These web-sites are not necessarily maintained by the city and may have been setup by private organisations or businesses.

If your city is not listed here, try these tips to find the web-site for your city.

Tips:

Say your city is named San Francisco, then you would check to see if your city web-site has one of the following URLs.

  1. www.ci.sanfrancisco.ca.us, www.ci.san-francisco.ca.us
  2. www.city.sanfrancisco.ca.us, www.city.san-francisco.ca.us
  3. www.sanfrancisco.org, www.san-francisco.org
  4. www.sanfrancisco.com, www.san-francisco.com
  5. www.sanfranciscoca.org, www.sanfrancisco-ca.com
  6. www.frisco.org, www.sfo.org www.frisco.com, www.sfo.com (variations of popular ways the city is called).

and so on and so forth. The first option should work, but if all these fail, then you hit the search engines looking for "city of ... web-site" and if you are lucky and the city has a web-site, you can go there.

By the way, the City of San Francisco has it's web-site at http://www.ci.sf.ca.us. :-). So now you really know what variations to try.

If you finally do find the URL of your city's web-site, kindly mail the information to us so that we can include it in the list above.

You may also want to check out the web-site of the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG). They have a nice, information packed site and a more complete list of the web-pages of Bay Area cities.
